1. The Reitoff Principle
Some days, I wake up and feel I can’t bring myself to take on the world.
No workout, no reading, no meditating.
Just stay on the cozy bed, Netflix and mobile gaming.
When this feeling happens, it can last a very long time.
(sometimes months)
The Reitoff Principle is why Saturday and Sunday are non-working days.
It allows one to free up the mental headspace away from work, recharging depleted “work mode” energy by doing nothing (or anything!)

Since it is CNY, I allowed myself to step out of “work mode” for 2 days!
Now I am here, working on this article on Chor 3.
⚡️ Update at Chor 5:
My body has been shut down with flu, fever and sore throat.
So, when it is meant to be a holiday, allow yourself to fully immerse in "doing nothingness".
2. Be willing to…
Want joy? Be willing to hold sadness.
Want success? Be willing to taste failure.
Want confidence? Be willing to do it, afraid.
Want abundance? Be willing to wade through scarcity.
-Milena Nyugen
So for this year of the Rabbit, I won’t wish you joy or success, confidence or abundance.
I wish you the willingness to feel their opposites.
Because just like the ocean, you’re big enough for the waves.

3. How Commitment Can Move You from Reasons to Results?
The truth is long-term success requires commitment.
And making a commitment entails sacrifice.
It is a promise and a pledge to a course of action.
Therefore, breaking it can harm our own integrity and reputation.
Whereas, steadfast habit of practicing one’s commitment can build confidence and ultimately our long-term goals.
